Scholastic Story Starters
Scholastic's Story Starters serves up hundreds of creative combinations that take the writer’s block out of creative writing for students. Set young writers loose with prompts that explore the themes of Adventure, Fantasy, or Sci-Fi. Or choose Scrambler, for random word combinations. Story Starters gives ideas for character, plot, and setting. If you want to change your writing prompt, pull the lever and it will serve up a new prompt, either piece-by-piece or all at once.

Create a teacher account, and add your classes. Sumdog's math games are free to play, either at home or at school. They cover 100 numeracy skills, split into 10 levels. You can use the teacher tools to limit the math topics that appear in the games based on grade level . Most games are multi-player, so students can play against thousands of students worldwide. XtraMath
A web-based program to help students increase speed and accuracy in arithmetic. Students spend a few minutes each day practicing math on the computer. Students take a placement test on addition followed by practicing until they reach a mastery score of 100. Then, depending on their grade level, they repeat for subtraction, multiplication, then division. The teacher account allows you to change practice times and topics.
